Arriving in Japan

Landed in Osaka and then bus to Kyoto where we were met at Kyoto station by the wonderful Selena. She led us for the next 3 days on an insiders tour of gardens, temples and shrines. We also had a private Context tour of Tenryu-ji temple and the Arashiyama bamboo grove, Immersed immediately into Japanese culture at Gion Yoshi-Ma Ryokan. Wearing the Yukata, slippers and of course sleeping on futons. Had a really good meal at Interesting Italian/Japanese fusion restaurant- Baitarusain. Serve organic and natural wines. Very small so book.
